June 10th 2000 was a sad day in our lives,
D.J. our 12year old poodle past away of natural causes.

DJ had been sick for several months, he was suffering from a
an enlarged heart caused by congestive heart disease, an
ailment that takes the lives of many poodles.

Ironically enough, we took DJ to the doctors on 6/10/2000 for a scheduled
checkup, his condition over the last week had worsened and we
decided the previous night it would be best to put him to sleep when we went
to the doctors. DJ died in our arms in the exam room before we
could even go forward with the procedure.

You can see from the picture above that DJ and I were the best of
friends and while I only knew him for 8 of the 12yrs of his life I had
a stronger bond with him than I did with my childhood dog of 14years!

DJ was a loyal friend and companion, not to mention spoiled rotten :)

He will be missed more than words can express.
